The lifespan of a 36V e-bike battery depends on several factors, but with proper care, you can expect our batteries to last between 4-8 years, or 1000-2000 charge cycles. Usage patterns, storage conditions, and charging habits influence longevity. Frequent deep discharges (running the battery until nearly empty) can shorten its life, so recharge when it is around 20-30% full. Extreme temperatures are another factor - avoid exposing the battery to excessive heat or cold. When storing your e-bike for long periods, keep the battery at about 50% charge in a cool, dry place.

Upgrading to a 36V battery is possible, but it's not usually as simple as swapping out the battery. The key consideration is compatibility with your existing motor and controller.
