Regarding range, a 36V battery can typically provide 40-80km of assisted riding, depending on factors like battery capacity, terrain and rider input.

The lifespan of a 36V e-bike battery depends on several factors, but with proper care, you can expect our batteries to last between 4-8 years, or 1000-2000 charge cycles. Usage patterns, storage conditions, and charging habits influence longevity. Frequent deep discharges (running the battery until nearly empty) can shorten its life, so recharge when it is around 20-30% full. Extreme temperatures are another factor - avoid exposing the battery to excessive heat or cold. When storing your e-bike for long periods, keep the battery at about 50% charge in a cool, dry place.

Upgrading to a 36V battery is possible, but it's not usually as simple as swapping out the battery. The key consideration is compatibility with your existing motor and controller. If your e-bike currently runs on a lower voltage, like 24V, upgrading to 36V will likely require changing the controller, as it needs to be rated for the higher voltage. Some motors are designed to work with multiple voltages, but others may not handle the increased power efficiently or safely. To estimate range, a general rule of thumb is to expect about 1-2km per 10Wh of battery capacity, depending on terrain, rider weight and assistance level. So, a 360Wh battery might offer 35-70km of range. Consider your typical riding distance - opt for a higher-capacity battery if you have a long commute or enjoy full-day rides. Also, think about weight - larger capacity batteries are heavier.

Charging time depends on the charger and battery size, but most 36V batteries take 3–6 hours for a full charge with a standard 3A charger. A 10ah battery charging at 3A will take just over 3 hours if empty.

Range varies based on the amp-hour rating, rider weight and terrain. On average, our smallest 36V battery gives 30–70 km per charge. Our largest 36v battery gives 120-250kms per charge.
