Unknown brand batteries and homemade battery packs are one area which we no longer work with. Unfortunately, we had an unknown brand battery fire in our shop, this helped us to make the decision to no longer work with unknown batteries, because we don’t like nasty surprises.
As well as unknown batteries, we choose not to work with the following (because we are not experts at working in these areas or because of the dangers associated with them) ;
- Scooters
- E Bikes over 2000w
- 52 Volt Systems
- Internet bikes (by internet bikes we mean bikes of a low enough quality which we deem as unsuitable to be worked on safely in our workshop).
- We do not install kits not bought from Rev Bikes
