Shipping policy

REV Bikes try to keep our delivery charges as cost-effective as possible.. we don’t aim to generate any income from freight. We actually lose out on some orders (paying more than the customer has been charged), and on others we might end up slightly ahead, so it all balances out in the end.

Our aim is to have your order to you within 2–7 days of the order being placed. In the rare instance when your delivery cannot be completed within this timeframe, a representative of REV Bikes will contact you to explore the options.

You will be provided with a tracking number once the order is dispatched, so you can follow the progress of your delivery. Your order is insured during the freight process, until its marked as delivered. REV Bikes cannot be held liable for delays on the delivery, or what happens to your parcel following delivery, such as being stolen from the front of your property.

Normally we ship with ATL (Authority To Leave) in a safe place, unless specific instructions are given. A redelivery fee can be charged if a delivery is attempted, nobody is home / there is no safe place to leave the package, and the freight company need to redeliver. Shipping to your work address or a business premises is highly recommended where practical.

FREE SHIPPING  

We often include bonus shipping with your order, meaning there is no additional cost for delivery on top of the product cost.  However in some rare cases, the freight cost will exceed our budget and we'll need to get in touch to discuss a freight charge or a refund.  If you're in a remote area and are concerned about the shipping cost, please get in touch so we can confirm for you prior to you ordering.

If we are not offering Free Shipping, then the below pricing structure is normally followed.


Small items (parts and accessories, up to 4 items)
Cost of shipping is $15 and shipped (in most cases) via Australia Post Tracked Delivery.  Express Shipping option is also offered for a little extra.


Lithium Batteries
Lithium batteries are classed as Dangerous Goods within air freight settings, so must travel by Road Freight only.

We charge a flat fee of $30 for delivery of Battery and Charger sets, to our Dealers or retail customers across most of the eastern states.

If you are located in a remote regional area or in FNQ / NT / WA, the costs may be significantly greater than $30. REV Bikes reserve the right to requote shipping (and charge a little extra) before finalising your order. In this case, you would have the right to cancel your order if the shipping costs are higher than you expected.


E-Bike Conversion Kits (including lithium battery)
Our conversion systems must be sent by Road Freight, due to containing lithium batteries, which are classed as Dangerous Goods within air freight settings.

We charge a flat fee of $50 for delivery to our Dealers or retail customers across most of the eastern states.
If you are located in a remote regional area or in FNQ / NT / WA, the costs may be significantly greater than $50. REV Bikes reserve the right to requote shipping (and charge a little extra) before finalising your order. In this case, you would have the right to cancel your order if the shipping costs are higher than you expected.


E-bikes and other bulky items
Shipping of complete e-bikes can be costly, especially for us to pack them carefully enough to survive the journey unharmed, while also making them simple enough for the new owner to reassemble.
For orders placed online, we charge a flat rate of $250 for e-bikes. If you are located in Melbourne Victoria, or even some other major capital cities, we can probably negotiate a cheaper rate.
If you are located in a remote regional area or in FNQ / NT / WA, the costs may be significantly greater than $250. REV Bikes reserve the right to requote shipping (and charge a little extra) before finalising your order. In this case, you would have the right to cancel your order if the shipping costs are higher than you expected.
