Bafang Stabiliser Bar SB-50

Ebike Stabiliser Bar SB-50, suits all Bafang BBS series mid-drive motors.

This bracket is an alternative fixing plate for stabilizing the mounting of the Bafang after-market mid-drive motors, and spreads the load of the motor across a larger surface area.  This prevents the motor from being able to loosen and then rotate and bang against the underneath of your frame.

Made of high strength stainless steel 2.5mm thick, and having a mounting angle of 50 degrees from straight, this bar will fit most (non full-suspension) bikes and attach to the chain stay. The motor will hang down a bit lower than with the SB-5, which has just a 5 degree offset from straight, which best suited to frames which angle up sharply directly from the bottom bracket.

In some cases this bracket mounts better to the upright seat tube.  

Some bending or forming may be required for a rock solid installation with either a hose clamp or suitable M5 or M6 bolt, potential by inserting a NutSert / RivNut if you prefer.

May be painted or left with original stainless steel finish.
