Electric Bike Mechanic Training Courses

REV-Bikes have been providing training in E-Bike Mechanics since 2016.

We want to pass our wealth of experience on to both Trained Bike Mechanics and backyard enthusiasts alike.

If you'd like to grow your skills in building, servicing, diagnosing and repairing e-bikes, in particular custom-built ones (from regular bikes into electric), please get involved! You can help us raise the standard of e-bike conversions happening out there, so they are practical, safe and responsible.

Please note: Our courses are NOT focused on Bosch, Shimano, Yamaha, Brose, or any other specific OEM integrated motors, as in, from factory e-bikes. We will discuss these, but we are focused on after-market systems in our courses.

*** Because we are now only offering training in Melbourne, we occasionally give away a SPONSORED position in our Training Course, to a passionate and driven e-bike enthusiast (from a location we are yet to have an established Dealer), who is very keen to join our team. This is because we know it takes time, effort and commitment to travel and stay for a few days for a course, so we therefore waive our training fee to compensate (you still must purchase a Conversion Kit to install during the course). If you think this should be YOU, email us with some info about yourself, and why you'd like to join our network.

ONLINE: Bike Shop Training

If you're an established Bike Shop (or you believe your local one could benefit), you'll understand the importance of ensuring your mechanics and sales people understand the e-bike language properly these days, which can be a lot to manage.

Perhaps you'd like to offer your existing customers cost-effective e-bike kit upgrades (for lightweight and customised solutions), better cater to e-bike servicing and repair enquiries, or just be able to sell the right motor system to the different market segments.

Ensure your team are clear on the Watts and What Nots, road-legal e-bike regulations, lithium battery safety, how to make sense of torque ratings, how to instruct riders on using & maintaining specific motor types, and managing realistic expectations of power and battery range.

Register below to join our FREE invitation-only seminar, where we spend 1 hour covering general e-bike knowledge, and 1 hour of more technical Kit Installation info for Mechanics. This can lead you into our Approved Installer stream, and also give you access to a broader range of unlisted online tutorials.
