No, we work with existing bikes and trikes built professionally and adapt them to suit special needs. We can modify almost any bike / trikes, including accessibility requirements and electrification.
Yes, we can use couriers to deliver the built bikes and trikes fully assembled, or some can be shipped in a box (requiring a few parts to be assembled at the destination). After production (which can take 2-6 weeks), standard shipping typically takes 5-7 business days.
No, we are not registered providers, so Participants who are Agency Managed cannot access funding for our products / services. Participants who are Self or Plan Managed are still able to seek funding from NDIS for our products and services.
On imported or custom-built Bikes and Trikes, we will quote (3 months validity), and proceed with the order / build once a 20% deposit is paid. The balance of payment is required prior to collection / delivery. We prefer payment via EFT to our bank account, details to be found on the invoice following acceptance of the quote.
Most e-Bikes and e-Trikes have a recommended 12 month service schedule. The electrics don't generally require any attention, but the mechanical parts of the bike do.
REV provide a FREE Annual Safety Check, so this is a check-over to determine if the mechanics need to do anything or not. If yes, then the bike / trike can be left with us, for a period to be determined at that time.
Servicing rates equate to around $150 /hr, and will vary based on how well the bike / trike has been maintained.
In some cases, we are able to offer on-site Test Rides and Servicing, mainly limited to the north-eastern area of Melbourne. Please call to discuss your requirements.
